During the recent fire incident at a government Data Center in South Korea, there was a fire in the lithium ion battery storage room of the data center. In the later news it was stated that one lithium ion battery caught fire and triggred a 'thermal runaway', which caused a cascading effect on the nearby batteries, that further led to overall larger fire.
